This new-build residence offers a fresh perspective on coastal California living. Designed by Laura Brophy Interiors, the space balances warmth and refinement with layered, intentional details. We were brought in to expand on that vision through art—sourcing pieces that introduce depth, quiet tension, and moments of surprise. In the formal dining room, a moody diptych plays against a backdrop of playful wallpaper. Just beyond, a wood-panel painting with gestural fields of color anchors the stairwell, drawing out the tonal shifts of the hand-painted ceiling above.
